Thoughts on Priesthood:
I admire men who say yes to the Lord and share their lives as priests with others, especially with those in hospitals and jails.
Why I Want to Be a Priest:
I want to be a priest because I like to be with people and talk to them about our Creator. I have done a lot of pastoral ministry and I love when I see smiles on people’s faces, especially after sharing how I have experienced God.
How did your family and friends react when you made that decision? Are they supportive now?
My family has been supportive with my decision and so many people from my hometown.
What is the hardest part of being in the seminary?
I have enjoyed my time in the seminary. So I cannot say there is anything I have not enjoyed.
What is the best part?
There are so many aspects I really like about seminary life: The studies, the community, and the human formation.
Who/what influenced your decision to enter the seminary?
I was a member of the youth group in my home parish. We had different preachers, priests, missionaries, and nuns who talked about the priesthood and they invited us to answer God’s call if we received the calling to serve Him in a closer way.
Hobbies & Interests:
Soccer
What advice would you give to a young man thinking about the priesthood?
I encourage them to talk to their pastors and not be afraid to say yes to the Lord if they feel the calling to the priesthood.
