Thoughts on Priesthood:

One word that is very important to me on priesthood is service.

Why I Want to Be a Priest:

First, because I feel that God is calling me to this vocation. Second, I think that I can serve him well as a priest and I am happy with that.

How did your family and friends react when you made that decision? Are they supportive now?

They were all happy and very supportive with my decision and my vocation.

What is the hardest part of being in the seminary?

The most difficult part is the academics.

What is the best part?

The brotherhood and seeing myself growing in the faith and my vocation each day as I learn and discover myself through formation has been the best part.

Who/what influenced your decision to enter the seminary?

First it was my family. Second, it was priest who were close to my family. But most of all it is the love and devotion that I had for the Eucharist.

Hobbies & Interests:

Sports, painting, reading, and traveling.

What advice would you give to a young man thinking about the priesthood?

Take time to pray about it. Don’t be in a hurry with your decision. Start being involved in parish ministries and activities. God to Mass as often as you can. Then if you really feel the call, go see the vocation director of the diocese or a religious order.
