Thoughts on Priesthood:

There are a lot of things that can be said about the priesthood. it is really hard to put them into writing. Priess do a lot of things and journeying towards the priesthood also requires a lot of hard work and sacrifice. But really, we are just normal people acting in the person of Christ.

Why I Want to Be a Priest:

There a lot of reasons why I want to be a priest; helping and leading people in their journey towards God and celebrating sacraments. Although in the end, it is not really what I want, it is what God wants, so I usually just trust his providence.

How did your family and friends react when you made that decision? Are they supportive now?

They were pretty open to it. My parents would prefer that I not become a priest but they never really tried to stop me from my decision and they are actually pretty supportive about it.

What is the hardest part of being in the seminary?

The expectations. It is normal, of course, for people to have expectations from you. Being a seminarian I feel a sort of pressure to nost waste the time and efforts of all the people who support me.

What is the best part?

The best part is knowing that I am living for something greater than myself.

Who/what influenced your decision to enter the seminary?

My formators and friends in the minor seminary helped me to foster my vocation.

Hobbies & Interests:

Guitar, basketball, music, movies, and food.

What advice would you give to a young man thinking about the priesthood?

Always keep an open mind and a firm heart. Be open to what may come but at the same time be firm with your decisions and of course, trust in God.
