St. Patrick’s Seminary Discernment WeekendEach year St. Patrick’s Seminary in Menlo Park offers a three day discernment retreat. It usually occurs during the last weekend of January. It is an opportunity for men considering a call to the Priesthood to meet seminarians and hear their vocation stories, to get a taste of what seminary life is like, and gain the tools to continue on the path of discernment. If you are interested in joining other men for this annual event, please contact the vocation director (916) 733-0258 or your local pastor.
Monthly Discernment GroupEvery second Monday of each month, there is a gathering in Sacramento for men 17-35 years old who are discerning a call to the priesthood or religious life. You are invited to join us for dinner, a short talk, time for questions, the sharing of priestly experiences, and during the summer, inside perspectives on life as a seminarian from current seminarians.
